White and Wholemeal Scones


12 oz - mix of wholemeal and white plain flour

Teaspoon baking powder

3 oz butter

3 oz caster sugar

Crumb the mixture with fingers

Mixed in one egg

Mixed in some milk

Mixture was quite stiff so that it would stay in shape

Add fruit (raisins, figs and cherries - all cut up small)

Cook for 20 mins at 200c (180c in fan over)
